Sunset sailing in Key West Florida sets the picture perfect scene. When my mom told me that my two cousins and I were going to Key West to visit my brother Franky we knew we were in for a great time. What put the icing on the cake was it was winter break and a change from the cold Baltimore weather to warm Florida sounded amazing. Leaving my stress in Baltimore I flew out of the BWI to Key West. Unlike most vacationers in Key West we stayed the week on a 125 foot schooner instead of a hotel room. My brother was a mate onboard the Liberty Clipper. He lived and worked on the boat all summer taking out different groups on sunset cruises. Since we were staying on the boat we had to sail everyday since it was his work which a little rough sometimes after a late night. The crew would man the sails while the rest enjoyed the sunset and open bar. During the day when we weren’t sailing we spent our time at the beach snorkeling. The snorkeling here is great we even saw sharks on two different snorkeling trips. We also got everywhere by bike most people don’t drive there which makes everywhere you go a fun ride. At night we would get on our bikes and go out for a night on the town. This vacation taught me to always take some time out of your busy life to lay back have some fun and relax.

thats a real cool vacation...ive always wanted to vacation on a boat, away from the hotel/tourist scene. Also, a good message for everyone because everyone has to just sit back and get away from it all sometimes.
