My life as a media addict
From the second I wake up to the second I go to bed media is a huge part of my life. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is turn the television on and put on the news. When I am home with my parents I regularly read The Sun Paper, but now at my college house I don’t have a subscription so I don’t read the paper as much. This has forced me to get most of my news from the internet. I really listening to music and hearing different music. This is why I spend a lot of time on my computer on Itunes. I buy songs all the time and search for other songs and artist I have never heard of. I also like to keep update on what’s going on in lacrosse. Laxpower.com is the most popular site for lacrosse. I check this regularly to see what’s going on. When I’m not on the internet and I’m probably watching television. I mostly watch espn to keep update on football or whatever sport is in season. I also use on demand all the time. Here you can search for movies and watch past episodes of series like my favorite entourage. Without media I don’t know what I would I would have to pick up a new hobby.

I think that it is awesome that you automatically put the news on as soon as you get up. I wish that was the first thing that I did in the morning. I do however understand where your coming from when living at home where you are able to read the paper versus living on campus and not having a subscription. Although you could get one, but I can also see why you wouldn't want to waste money when you have other sources available to you. I also use laxpower alot to see whats happening with lacrosse since I love the sport!
Wow. Well I can completely understand what your saying, I don't ever turn my computer off. I use my computer to keep in touch with people, and for the news.
I really wish I had the same habits as you when it comes to turning on the news every morning, but as soon as I wake up Sportscenter is the first thing that i turn on. I don't know why but i would rather hear about the night in sports then what's going on in the world while I'm eating breakfast.
i agree with you for the most part because i too never turn my computer off. I use it to the best of my abilities. i talk to people, get information, entertainment, infotainment and News as well.
Are you reading the paper and watching for sports or other stories because I enjoy the sports pages but otherwise do not enjoy most other news.
